Noise Signal Generation

This section includes products and application notes used in standard noise measurements. The applications include, Noise Figure, Noise Floor reference and Dithering. The products are specialized noise diodes, general noise sources, and precision noise sources. Our diodes can be used for a wide variety of AWGN output signals, including NF measurements, a precision reference level, and ADC dithering. Each diode should be selected for your BW, and output power requirements found in the data sheet. The peripheral circuitry will determine band flatness, final power, and output impedance characteristics. If design time is a constraint, Noise Com has standard modules designed for these applications. Follow the product links to noise sources, or precision noise sources.
